The Sell More Books Podcast
“The Sell More Book Show” hosted by Bryan Cohen has gone through a few co-hosts in the years since I started following the show. Originally Cohen was the writer and his first partner was the business guy. The next host was a prolific writer. There is a new co-host that I haven’t formed an opinion on yet. I read Cohen’s “Ted Saves the World” and it was an enjoyable book. He also has books on writing prompts and publishing. The podcast is not so much crafting but what comes next. He had shows on marketing, book fairs, and where is publishing heading. He did shows on publishing company mergers.
I’ve heard him guest on other writing shows where he talks about publishing.
Sometimes shows like this are heartbreaking and/or inspiring. He has sold a lot of books over the years. He makes it sound so easy that he could sell so much. Why not me? It’s not that easy. You can follow the steps shows like this say and get nowhere.
In fairness, he is not saying that he will guide you to big sells. He gives advice, what works for him and his co-hosts. It’s not a guarantee. Because he says it’s tough and not a guarantee, it makes the show easy to keep following.
